Cynthia Gail Ditmars

May 20, 1954 — March 26, 2021

Cynthia "Cindy" Gail (Ross) Ditmars passed away unexpectedly on March 26th, 2021 at the age of 66, surrounded by her family.

Cindy was born May 20, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas to Walter and Sabina Ross. At a young age, Cindy lived in many places due to her father being in the Air Force. She graduated from Robert E. Lee high school in Houston in 1972 and furthered her education at Abilene Christian University. In later years, she was also a member of Katy Church of Christ, where she had many friends.

Cindy was a sassy spirit. She loved to cook and cross-stitch. She fell in love with New Hampshire while living there and raising her family, and she absolutely adored dachshunds. Cindy especially enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and her dog, Lulu. During her homemaking years she loved to watch "Young and the Restless", which meant naptime for her boys. When they heard the introduction, they knew, it was "mom time". She also obtained her Real Estate License while living in New Hampshire with her growing family.

She is survived by her brother David Ross of Katy, TX; son Ryan Ross Schaffner and wife Meredith and their children Lexy, Keeley, Kate, Jaxin, William and Rylin of Winters, TX; son Daniel Frank Ditmars and his children Grayson and Owen of Raymond, NH, loving nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Steve Ross, and her beloved son Christopher Henry Schaffner. A memorial in Cindy's honor will be announced at a later date. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hillcrest South Hospital and her Tulsa community.

Revelation 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be nor more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: All these things are gone forever.
