Curtis Leslie Colbenson

Curtis Leslie Colbenson age 72 passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at his Jenks residence.
Curtis was born March 13, 1936 in Maskell, Nebraska to Leslie Harold Colbenson and Freida M. (Nielsen) Colbenson. He graduated from George High School in 1954 in George, IA. He served two years in the United States Army (Korean War) and was honorably discharged. On January 31, 1959 in Yankton, South Dakota, he married Charlotte A. Harmer. For twenty-three years Curtis worked in Management for Walmart Stores. In his spare time he enjoyed going on cruises (traveling), bowling and playing golf. He was Baptist by faith and was a church member of Faith Baptist Church in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Freida Colbenson.
Curtis is survived by his wife: Charlotte Ann Colbenson of Jenks; his daughter, Carol Anwar and her husband, Iftikhar of Jenks; his granddaughters: Sara and Alyssa Anwar of Jenks; his sisters: Nadene Ketter and her husband, Maurice of Wynot, Nebraska; Orlene North and her husband, Jim of Norfolk, Nebraska.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Faith Baptist Church, Highway 117, Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Reverend Paul Littleton will officiate.
