On June 18, 1993, a baby boy, named Courtney J. Glenn Palmer, was born to Aaron Palmer, Jr. and Deborah Wooden. At an early age, Courtney accepted Christ into his life at St. Andrew's Baptist Church in Los Angeles, California, where he was born. He lived in California until the age of nine. The family then moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he attended school and later graduated. One of his parents favorite memories is how he would build cars out of anything. It didn't matter what, where, when, or how as long as he could use it, he did just that to build his cars, had a little assistant named Cambra to help out.
Time passed, Courtney got older and started a little family of his own. Oh how Courtney loved his family, loved his babies most of all. He always kept them smiling and kept them fresh. He didn't play about his babies. His kids were his world, no buts, ifs, ands or maybes. They were either "Daddy's Babies" or "Uncle Cookies Babies." Anyone that had the pleasure to meet Courtney, was blessed; he always left them with a loving expression of joy, laughter, fun, goofiness and fun.
His Momma said, "he missed his calling card to be a comedian. LOL. He is up in heaven now, doing his thang. Keep the angels laughing son, God needs you more."
Proceeding Courtney in death are his grandparents, Robert and Nanni Pressey; and sister, Keisha Palmer.
Those left to cherish the memories of Courtney are his children: Dallis Fortenberry and his mom, JaNeeka Fortenberry of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Baby Shannon Daniels and Kourtney Palmer and their mom Shannon Daniels of Fairburn, Georgia. Courtney's parents: Deborah Wooden (mom), Aaron Palmer, Jr. (dad), Stanley Bufford (stepdad), all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Courtney's siblings: TaMeka Palmer, JaMeka Palmer and Aaron Palmer, all of Los Angeles, California, Artisha Moore-Palmer (Demetrius) of Lewisville, Texas, Nakki Lytler (Brian) of Los Angeles, California, Aaron Palmer, III (Keisha) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bianca Palmer-Hurtz (Keith) of Norman, Oklahoma, Eric Palmer (Telitha) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Cambra Palmer of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Courtney also leaves to cherish his memories are his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
You all were special to Courtney, keep his memories alive while cherishing what we have. Baby Boy, Rest In Paradise.
