Cory Joe Leslie

Cory Joe Leslie, 19, passed away Friday, December 17, 2004 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cory was born April 16, 1985 to Lonnie Joe Leslie and Kimberly Forbes Sanford.
Cory graduated from Glenpool High School in 2003 where he was an All State Wrestler and Glenpool's first student to go to state competing in track in the pole vaulting competition. Cory was an assistant wrestling coach for Glenpool Youth Sports Association. Most recently Cory worked at Bob Hurley Ford Dealership as a parts department driver. He attended New Hope Assembly of God Church in Glenpool.
Cory Joe Leslie was preceded in death by his grandfather: Harmon Leslie. He is survived by his father: Lonnie Joe Leslie and stepmother, Cherie Leslie of Winchester, Oklahoma; his mother: Kimberly Sanford, Monet, Missouri; his brothers: Cody Leslie, Monet, Missouri, Kyle Leslie, Glenpool, Oklahoma: sisters: Nikki Leslie, Glenpool, Shawna Sanford, Cassi Sanford and Cammi Sanford, Monet, Missouri; stepsisters: April Pack, Michelle Martin and Kimberly Martin, Okmulgee,; grandmother: JoAnn Leslie, Tulsa, Sue Forbes, Monet, Missouri, grandfather, Steve Forbes, Camden, Missouri; nephew: Jakob Pack, niece, Destiny Daily of Okmulgee; aunt and uncle: Lisa and David Swanson, Liberty Mounds, aunt and uncle: Linda and Kent Whisenant, Tahlala, Cousins: Tim and Leslie Keiser and son, Aiden, Tulsa, and Kindell Whisenant, Tahlala, OK.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at New Hope Assembly of God, Glenpool, Oklahoma with the Reverend Bill Coleman and Reverend Donna Emberton officiating. Committal with be at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma immediately following funeral service.
