It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Connie Fousel Moore, age 78, on March 2, 2025. Connie was born on October 5, 1946, in Graham, AZ, to Carl and Ramona Fousel. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Connie married Alvie Moore, and together they shared many wonderful years before his passing. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvie; her parents, Carl and Ramona Fousel; and her brother-in-law, Mike Pitts.

She leaves behind her cherished sister, Christy Pitts; her beloved grandson, Corey Moore; and great-granddaughters, Cora and Marlee, all of whom she adored with her whole heart.

Connie was a remarkable woman whose talents and passions spanned many areas of life. She served as the Head of the Foreign Language Department, where she inspired students with her deep love of language and culture. A lifelong reader, Connie's curiosity and thirst for knowledge were boundless, and she loved sharing what she learned with others.

She was also an artisan, creating beautiful works of art that reflected her creative spirit. Connie had a special love for horses and enjoyed spending time with them, often finding peace and joy in their company. She had a passion for the Scottish Games, where her love for tradition and heritage truly shined, embracing the energy and history of the event.

A lover of all things, Connie's interests were vast, and she cherished every experience life had to offer. Her caring nature, sharp intelligence, and unshakable determination made her a constant source of strength for those around her. Whether it was offering a listening ear, teaching someone how to navigate life, or simply being the unwavering support her loved ones needed, Connie was always there. Her fierce love for her family and her role as a fighter and guide will forever be remembered. She instilled in those closest to her lessons of perseverance, compassion, and how to truly love.

Her legacy will live on in the countless memories she leaves behind-stories of laughter, love, and the quiet strength she carried throughout her life. Connie was the definition of cool, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
