Connie Burns

April 27, 1963 — October 30, 2024

Connie Denise Burns, born on April 27, 1963, in Fairview, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 61. A beloved partner, mother, grandmother, and sister, Connie will be remembered for her larger-than-life spirit and her boundless love for those around her.

Connie is survived by her devoted partner of 27 years, Gerald Anderson, who stood by her side through all of life's joys and challenges. She is also survived by her two children, Katrina Pannhoff and her husband Andrew, and Charles "CJ" Burns. Her grandchildren, Robert, Vanessa, and Nathan, were the light of her life, bringing her endless pride and joy. She also leaves behind her siblings: James, Brice, Deanna, and Howard, who shared a lifetime of memories with her.

Connie was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jacob Burns, and her mother, Leona Pruitt, whom she has now rejoined.

Connie lived a life full of hard work and love. Over the years, she worked in many fields, from factories to diners, always doing what was needed to provide for her family. But her true passions lay beyond her work. She loved nature deeply, finding peace and joy in the beauty of the outdoors. Animals, especially dogs, held a special place in her heart.

Her taste in music reflected her fiery spirit-she had a love for rock music that matched her vibrant personality. Her family and friends will forever miss her ability to listen, her knack for great conversations, and the warmth she brought to any room.

Connie's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her best-through the stories she told, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty of nature she cherished so much.
