Colean Ann Cronin

Colean Ann Cronin of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on January 15, 2023 at 94 years of age. She was born September 26, 1928 in Parsons, Kansas to Charles and Anna Guist. She had no siblings but had a happy and loving relationship with her parents who ran Sunflower Pharmacy. 

Colean met Kenneth H. Kirk at the pharmacy and they married in 1948. They moved to Kansas City and she worked at Hallmark until their move to Tulsa in 1950. Eventually, Colean began work at Equifax until her retirement. Upon retiring she enjoyed working at Miss Jackson’s.

Colean was a life-long member at Southminster Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading and playing bridge with her couple friends. She also volunteered at Ronald McDonald House. In 1990, she married John K. Cronin and they traveled many years to horse racing events.

She is predeceased in death by her parents, husband and son, Kyle. She is survived by her 3 children Sam, Kent and Kathy. She had 8 grandchildren, 10 great children and 1 great great grandchild.

A graveside service to honor the life of Colean will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Parsons, KS. Memorial Lawn Cemetery is located at 21309 Ness Rd, Parsons, KS 67357 for anyone wishing to attend.
