Cleta Fay Stout

Cleta Fay Stout, a beloved wife, mother, and cherished member of the community, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the age of 75. She was born on January 10, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to her parents, Bill and Edith Izard (Duty).

Cleta's life was blessed with love from the moment she met the man of her dreams, Riley Stout, with whom she shared countless precious moments. They were united in marriage on June 24, 1967 in Owasso, Ok, creating a bond that would stand the test of time.

Cleta dedicated her life to her family, serving as a loving homemaker and providing a nurturing and caring environment for her loved ones. Her selflessness and unwavering dedication to her family were the cornerstones of her life.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Izard and stepmom Helen, and her mother, Edith Duty and stepfather James. Cleta leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her dear husband, Riley Stout, and their children, Saundra Smith and husband Lynn; son, Brian Stout; and daughter Sharon Stout; her grandchildren, Chris Smith and wife Isa, Brandon Smith and wife Ada, Jacob Stout, Devyn Stout, Kalyssa Stout and Haylee Gunter; her great-grandchildren, Lucas Smith, Sophia Smith, Mathias Smith and one on the way in February; sister, Linda Boerger and husband Gary; her aunt, who was more like a sister, Janis Stout; brother-in-law, Alfred; and too many nieces and nephews to count. She also leaves behind numerous other beloved relatives and a multitude of friends who will forever treasure the moments shared with her.

A celebration of Cleta's life will be held at New Beginnings Church in Bixby, Oklahoma, on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Matt Fowler officiating.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Schaudt's Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers, located at 1329 East 151st Street, Glenpool, OK 74033.
