Clay Henry Ward II age 53 passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Clay was born August 23, 1959 in Alpine, Texas to Henry Clayton Ward and Sandra (Guest) Ward. He graduated in 1977 from Hartshorne High School and attended college at Eastern Oklahoma State University. Some of Clay's hobbies were hunting, fishing, golfing, writing poetry, taking pictures of wildlife and spending time with his brothers at the fire station. He worked as a fire fighter starting out as a volunteer in 1991 and in 1994 he became a full time fire fighter working up to the rank of Captain for the City of Glenpool. He is survived by his parents, Henry Ward and Sandra Ward, his son, Jeff Ward and his wife, Katie of Tulsa, his daughter, Megan Crawford and her husband, Brett of Owasso, his brother, Mark Ward of Hartshorne, Oklahoma, his sister, DeShan Ward of McAlester, Oklahoma, his grandchildren, Damon Ward, Daniel Crawford, his niece Rhavyn Cook, along with other nieces, nephews, family members and a host of friends and co-workers. Service are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Brett Land will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are: Mark Ward, Brad Miller, Michael Nolen and The Glenpool Fire Department. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
