Claude Garrett

Claude Garrett, 96, passed away Friday June 24, 2011 in Henryetta. Claude was born April 6, 1915 in Hanna, OK to John and Mary Garrett. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a retired mechanic for the City of Los Angeles. Claude is survived by his wife, Faye Garrett of the home in Henryetta, six sons, Ken Garrett of San Antonio, TX, Jim Garrett of Henryetta, Tom Garrett of Tehachapi, CA, Wayne Garrett of Bakersfield, CA, Allen Garrett of Tehachapi, CA, Danny Garrett of Tehachapi, CA, two daughters, Joyce Price of Henryetta, Pat Johnson of Glenpool, step-daughters, Linda Berno of Henryetta, Shelia Rice of Henryetta, 24 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Claude was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Nellie Garrett, daughter, Shirley Garrett, son, Ronnie Garrett, four brothers, Jimmy Trammell, Harold Trammell, Ralph Trammell, Raymond Trammell and one sister, Helen Woodall. Visitation for Claude will be held Monday June 27th from 10:00 A.M to 8:00 P.M. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta, OK. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday June 28, 2011 at Henryetta Church of Nazarene with Pastor Lowell Churchill officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Hanna Cemetery in Hanna, OK.
