Claude Emerson Howe

Claude Emerson Howe of Okmulgee, Oklahoma passed away with loving family by his side on Friday, August 5, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 86. Claude was born on February 11, 1936 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to his parents, Raymond and Joann Roberts Howe the sixth of seven children.

He met the love of his life, Anita Abel. They were married on August 28 1954 just five days after Anita's 17th birthday and three months after Claude's high school graduation.
As a junior in high school Claude joined the national guard in which he served five years leaving his unit as a basic training unit commander.
Claude worked as a glass cutter for ten years after high school then he found his dream job as a Highway Patrol officer for the state of California for seven years which was his favorite job as he had many stories that he loved to tell, he worked in construction he loved working with his hands and was an excellent carpenter and mechanic and also owned and operated C&J outboard service for many years, he also loved classic VW trikes and numerous motorcycles.

He is preceded in death by; father, Raymond Howe, mother Joann Howe, spouse Anita Howe, son Tony Howe two brothers and four sisters.

Claude leaves many loving memories with his family, Son Robert Howe and wife Jona, granddaughter Noel Bardonnex and late husband Jeff, grandson Josh Howe and wife Brook, Daniel Howe and wife Heather, and many great grandchildren and even two great-great grandchildren along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be held at the Okmulgee Elks Lodge on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
