Clarence Tiger

Clarence C. Tiger passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the age of 70. He was born April 14, 1940 in George and Melissa (Harjo) Tiger in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Melissa Tiger; Son, George Palmer Tiger and three great grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Sally Tiger of the home; seven children, Rhonda Hill of Okemah, Kristi Hooper and husband, Shayne of Sapulpa, Ben Gibson and wife, Kimberly of Okemah, Clarence Tiger, Jr. of Sapulpa, Lucy Tiger of Sapulpa, Hully Tiger and wife, Michelle of Sapulpa and James Tiger and wife, Mary of Glenpool; sister, Christine Henneha of Okemah, sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta. Wake Services will be held Friday, December 31, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Henryetta Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2011 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Alexander and Reverend Wayne Harjo officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Taryole Family Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta.
