Clarence Calvin Moorman, age 61 passed away at his Glenpool residence Tuesday, February 6, 2007 after fighting a lengthy battle with cancer.
Mr. Moorman was born January 4, 1946 in Coyle, Oklahoma to Alvis Moorman and Audrie (Lamb) Moorman. He graduated from Coyle High School in 1964 and continued his education at Oklahoma State University. He graduated in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture. Clarence met the love of his life, Suzanne (Vance) Moorman and they married October 1, 1981 in Noble, Oklahoma.
Clarence Calvin Moorman was the owner of Clarence Moorman Construction Company. He was an avid OSU Cowboy fan. He liked gardening, fishing, working crossword puzzles but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mr. Moorman was preceded in death by both parents: Alvis Moorman (1984) and Audrie Moorman (1999) along with his sister: Lois Carrier.
Clarence Moorman is survived by his wife: Suzanne Moorman of Glenpool, four sons: Benjamin Vance of Glenpool, Jeremy Stockton and Lisa of Moore, Oklahoma; Ty Moorman of Dickinson Texas; Cody Moorman of Tulsa; two daughters: Ami Taylor and companion, Calvin Turner, of Buna, Texas; Tara McHughes and John of Norman, Oklahoma; four brothers: Garrell Moorman and Janet of Perkins, Oklahoma; Lloyd Moorman and Judy of Perkins, Oklahoma; Marvin Moorman and Laura of Stillwater Oklahoma; Steven Moorman and Laura of Perkins, Oklahoma; one sister: Thelma Higgins and Kenneth of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his mother in-law and father in-law: Susie and George Vance, Glenpool, Oklahoma; his brother in-law, Lawrence Carrier and DeLois of Ripley, Oklahoma along with six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers for Mr. Moorman are: John Moss, Tom Pope, Terril Quinton, Charlie Williams, Jerry Martin and Tony Waltrip. Honorary Pallbearers are: Charles Reid and Duane Boggs.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Church, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Toby Youngblood will officiate along with Reverend Kenneth Adams. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Elm Grove Cemetery, Perkins, Oklahoma.
