Clara Norma Calvert

Clara Calvert, born on January 6, 1928, in Lenna, OK to her late parents, James and Bennie (Smith) Hunter, passed away on June 18, 2022.

Clara was an easy going person, willing to sit and share her stories with her grandkids. She enjoyed working in her yard and with her flowers. She loved to play dominoes at the Senior Building, read books, and enjoyed shopping with her daughters.

Clara is preceded in passing by her parents James and Bennie Hunter, her husband Dale Calvert, as well as sisters Opal Williams, Ocie Wood, Velman Crocker, Neva Calvert, Joyce Hunter, Bonnie Hunter, Selma Hunter, and brothers Jimmy Hunter, and Slim Hunter.

Clara leaves many loving memories to be cherished by her family including her daughters Angelia Shanks of Glenpool, Sharon Reed also of Glenpool, son Larry Calvert of Glenpool, and grandchildren Michelle Dicus of Twin Hills, Misty Linker of Seminole, Amy Chandler of Beggs, Cheri Brown of Gilbert, AZ, Jeremy Reed of Glenpool, Shawn Shanks of Beggs, and Brandon Reed, also of Beggs.
