Chester William O'Steen

Chester "Chuck" William O'Steen, 75, of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away on Tuesday, March 7th, at his residence. He was born March 1, 1942 in Madill, OK to Robert William and Annie Bernice (Root) O'Steen. He married Frances Marie (Graap) O'Steen on May 14, 1977 in Castro Valley, CA. Chuck retired from O'Steen's Body Shop as an Auto Body Proprietor in 1996. He had many hobbies including racing, fishing and boating. He loved inventing things. He had a great "off color" sense of humor, which included his proud membership in the highly selective national organization, Assholes of America. He was a true family man, devoted son, husband, father and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert William and Annie Bernice (Root) O'Steen; siblings, Fran Roberts and Doyle O'Steen.

Survivors include Frances Marie (Graap) O'Steen of Broken Arrow, OK; children, Chrissy Schierer of Kincaid, IL, Shelly Kay Wright and husband, Willy James of Broken Arrow, OK, Mike Jones and wife, Jennifer of Albany, OR, and Charles Don O'Steen and wife, Diana of Broken Arrow, OK; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
