A Celebration of Life to honor and remember Cheryl Fay Deyoe will be held on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at noon at the First Baptist Church, 201 Crestview, Cleveland, Oklahoma. Cheryl Fay (Lee) Deyoe, 71 of Alvarado, Texas died December 3rd, 2019 surrounded by family in Pawnee, Oklahoma.
Cheryl was born October 7, 1948 in Russell Kansas to Robert Lee and Bessie (Miller) Lee. The Lee family moved to Ulysses, KS in 1957 where Cheryl attended grade school and high school. She married Eddie Deyoe on February 11th, 1966 in Ulysses, KS. Cheryl enjoyed traveling, cooking and gardening. She loved family gatherings and was a devoted parent, grandparent, and great grandparent. Cheryl was a strong Christian woman who bravely fought a six month battle with stage 4 cancer.
Cheryl was very creative and never afraid to take on something new. She had an adventurous spirit. Cheryl traveled to forty-six of the lower forty-eight states, five provinces in Canada and Puerto Rico. She was a generous person who enjoyed shopping and then passing things on to her children and grandchildren or others in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings Buddy Lee, Audrey Bair, Harley Lee and Alan Lee.
Survivors include her husband Eddie Deyoe of Alvarado, Texas; three daughters, Velvet Randolph (Randy), Nikki Siler (Jack) and Cherry Hale; three sisters Carol George, Ethel Bollinger and Juanita Howard; eight brothers, Bobby Lee, George Lee, Donnie Lee, Art Lee, Larry Lee, Lonnie Lee, Gary Lee, and Jerry Lee; ten grandchildren, Levi Randolph, Grace Yates, Gilbert Randolph, Luke Randolph, Shawnee Fultz, Brit Hale, Dakota Hale, Micaiah Hale, Brook Hale, Malachi Hale, nine great-grandchildren, Ryley, Syler, Aysia, Aybel, Emily, Madelyn, Jenevieve, Hadassah and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Flower arrangements are being handled by Celebrations Floral and Gift in Cleveland, OK.
