Chellie Curb Baygents

Chellie Curb Kirk Baygents 90 years old passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Chellie was born October 17, 1924 in Hale County, Alabama to Walter Thomas Curb and Betty Mae Walton. She graduated from Greensboro High School with the Class of 1944. She was a homemaker and a member of Greensboro Baptist Church.

Chellie was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband,
Leo Kirk, her second husband, James V. Baygents, her four brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her son, David Kirk of Bessemer, AL, her daughter, Miriam Shelton of Kellyville, OK, her step-son, Darryl Baygents of Denver, NC, step-daughter, Linda Phagan of Hawkinsville, GA, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren along with other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be her nephews and grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of her Greensboro Baptist Sunday School Class.

Services will be held at the Greensboro Baptist Church with burial following at Oakwood Cemetery in Greensboro, AL

The family wishes to thank Grace Hospice and Clarehouse who lovingly cared for her while in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the charity of your choice.
