Chasity Rena Patterson

Chasity Rena Patterson, a resident of Beggs, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the age of 17. She was born September 7, 1995 to James Patterson and Teresa Flowers in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Chasity attended Beggs High School and was enrolled in OSU-Okmulgee. She was on the Beggs Yearbook staff, member of the Beggs Honor Society, played basketball and was a trainer for the Beggs Football Team. Chasity was a very vibrant, beautiful young girl, who loved life and her little boy, Brody. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Teresa Flowers; grandmother, Daisy Flowers; grandmother, Heidi Flowers; grandmother, Clio Richards and nephew, Ashton Pugh. Survivors include her little boy, Brody Dean Sadler of the home; mother, Chire Patterson of the home; father, James Patterson of Sand Springs; six sisters, Chyanna Patterson and husband, Jason Pugh of Beggs, Heather Velasquez and husband, Reyes of Glenpool, Britton King of Beggs, Chelsea Patterson of Beggs, Cortney Parmley and husband, Joe of Tulsa and Christy Flowers of Tulsa; one brother, Jimmy Patterson of Beggs; granparents, Sam Flowers and James and Annie Patterson of Wainwright; nieces and nephews, Blake, Matthew, Hailee, Allisa, Mkeyela, Elijah, Ashlyn, Bentley, Serenity, Ayden, Brooklyn, James and Tyler; and numerous other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Beggs High School Dome with Pastor Robert Yandell officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Beggs Cemetery under the direction of the Jackson Funeral Home and Crematory in Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be James Patterson,Blake Pugh, Jason Pugh, Reyes Velasquez, Jimmy Patterson, Brady Brown, Matthew Pugh and Robert King. Honorary Pallbearer will be Earl Pierce and Rick Richards. Friends may sign the register book at the funeral home on Tuesday until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
