Charles Thomas Hayes age 74 passed away on Friday, August 8, 2008 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Charles was born October 4, 1933 in Glenpool, Oklahoma to William Luther and Julia Elizabeth (Garrett) Hayes. He attended Bixby High School. He married the love of his life, Willia Dean Hayes on August 10, 1952 in Bixby, Oklahoma. Charles worked as an electrical engineer and before retiring he was employed by Dowell Chemical.
Charles was an Elder at his church: Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved to talk to people about Jehovah's Kingdom. He was always available to anyone who needed a helping hand or just a friend. Charles was a devoted father to his family and a devoted husband to his wife. He received great pleasure being surrounded by family and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents: William and Julia Hayes; and two brothers: Norman Hugh Hayes and Lee Roy Hayes.
He is survived by his loving wife: Willia Hayes of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; his sister: Ramona Ruth Heath; his son: Steven Thomas Hayes and his wife, Marie; his daughter: Linda Sue Whitehead and her husband, Frank; six grandchildren: Chad Thomas Hayes, Brian Lee Buckmaster, Betsy Sulynn Buckmaster, Brittney Whitehead, Christie Clour, Shawnda Nichols; six great-grandchildren: Grady Kent Thomas Hayes, Eileen Marie Hayes, Jessica Lynn Buckmaster, Rachel Ann Buckmaster, Arayah June Hayes and Christopher Ryan Buckmaster.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 10th from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Funeral Service, Glenpool, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 11, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 1123 Brenner Road, Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Mr. John Pfannkuche will officiate. Interment will immediately follow at Rosencutter Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: John McNeil, Ken Barnhart, Chuck Trimble, Nick Carson, Mike Hildreth and J. D. Sellers.
