Charles Ray Gibson, Sr.

Charles Ray Gibson, Sr. age 81 passed away at his Okmulgee residence on Wednesday, March 2, 2016.

Charlie was born January 3, 1935 in Flatonia, Texas to BC Gibson and Ophelia (Nappier) Gibson. He attended school in New Mexico. He was the owner of Charlie's Baber Shop from 1958 to 2006 when he retired. Charlie liked to search and collect fossils and he loved to travel.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents BC and Ophelia Gibson.

Charlie is survived by his brother Fred Gibson, sister in-law Paula Gibson, his two sons, Charles Gibson, Jr. and Stanley Gibson, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren along with other family members and friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
