Charles Harwood

Charles Lee Harwood, born on May 28, 1948, in Depew, Oklahoma, bid farewell to this world on April 5, 2024, in Hominy, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Henry and Margie Louise Harwood, his sister Wilma Davis and brother Darrel Childress.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Jo Etta, his son Kevin Lee Harwood, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his sisters Maudie Kelly and Patricia Simmons.

Known for his affinity for cowboy movies and television shows, Charles found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, Precious, and found relaxation in watching TV. As a security guard, he dutifully protected those entrusted to his care.

In his leisure time, Charles could often be found riding his bicycle, indulging in delicious meals, and enjoying the company of his family. He shared many memorable walks with his cherished wife, Jo Etta.

Although Charles has left this earthly realm, his memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal warmth of fond memories.
