Charles Glenn Fisher was born to parents Theodore and Ester Fisher on January 7, 1948 at their home in Pumpkin Center, Oklahoma. Glenn passed away at his home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on Tuesday, May, 19, 2020.
Glenn graduated from high school at Liberty Morris and years later further his education at Park University to receive his Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2011. He worked in the construction business, having this degree was something he was proud to accomplish. He met the love of his life, Patricia in 1967 and married in January 1968. Together they had three children, Kimberly, Amanda, and Charles.
Glenn could be best known as a world traveler. He and wife Patricia loved to spontaneously pack their bags and travel to where ever they wanted to go. Most of their travels revolved around where one of their children were stationed in the Air Force. They would often leave their home in the city or country they were staying and travel outside those areas. Doing this allowed for Glenn and Patricia together to experience numerous cultures, foods, and nature. It did not matter what town they lived in over the years of traveling, what mean the most was they built a home together as a family. Glenn loved "DIY" projects and was always open to teaching someone his craft. Glenn worked for several businesses over the years. While living in Beggs, Oklahoma he worked for the Beggs Telephone Company. Glenn and Patricia were known in Beggs for hosting fantastic Halloween parties and having over 400 people attending. They also had the first swimming pool in Beggs at their home. People from all over town would call to see if they could come swim at any given time. Most recently while living in Okmulgee since the early 2000’s, Glenn worked for TH Rogers.
He is preceded in death by parents, Theodore and Ester Fisher.
