Charles F. Brucks born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Clara and Carl Brucks on February 12, 1935 passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011. Charles or "Charlie" as he was known was raised and educated in Little Rock and later relocated to Tulsa OK. He worked fifteen years with Pepsi Cola and retired as a regional Vice President of MEI. He later owned and operated Delaware Center Liquor for many years. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Carl Brucks. He is survived by his wife: Daphne Morgan Brucks; his children: Leslie Brucks, and Russell Brucks, his eldest grandson, Austin Osburn, his step-daughter, Cathy Morgan, his step-daughter, Jennifer Peckham and step-son, Jay Thompson, step-son: Craig Carder, his brother Ed and his wife, Linda Brucks, his sister, Betty Blackmer, his cherished young three grandchildren and two great grandchildren along with other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer Association. They also want to thank the staff at Cedar Ridge Memory Care Unit for all their loving care of "Charlie". A mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Church of the Madalene, 3188 East 22nd Street, South, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74114 (918 744-0023). Reverend Bryan Brooks will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
