Charles Epperson

Charles Nelson Epperson, a resident of Okmulgee and owner of Nelson’s Restaurant, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the age of 83. He was born May 9, 1928 to James Charles and Clara Bernice (Toone) Epperson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ludie Epperson in 2006 and brother, Dwight Epperson. Survivors include his daughter, LuAnn Harper of Okmulgee and son, Gary Epperson of Wetumka; four grandchildren; one great grandchild and numerous other relatives and friends . Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Services are under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
