Charles Edward Rice

Charles Edward Rice age 80 passed away Friday, May 1, 2009 at the VA Medical Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Charles was born December 14, 1928 in Verdigris, Oklahoma to Jess Rice and Pearl (Jarvis) Rice. Charles attended school in Bowlegs, Oklahoma. He joined the United States Army on January 5, 1948 in Oklahoma City and was honorably discharge on February 20, 1952 in San Francisco, California. Charles worked as a journeyman for Vickery Heating and Air Conditioning Company. Charles was preceded in death by his father: Jess Rice (1931); his mother: Pearl Rice (1981); his wife: Jean Rice (1993) of Foyil; his brother: Jess Rice (1973) of Claremore; his brother: Loyde Rice (1991) of Afton; his brother: Buford Couch (1998) of Chelsea; his sister: Velma Rice Still (1996) of Salina and his brother: Wayne Rice (1988) of Foyil.
Charles is survived by his cousins: Loretta Rice of Claremore; Clyde and Sharon Rice of Bushyhead; Jack and Jean Ellis of Bernice; his nephews and spouses: Tim and Penny Rice of Afton; Kelly and Amanda Wells of Claremore; Terry and Angie Wells of Wilburton; Mike and Angie Wells of Oologah; his nieces: Ellie Qualls of Owasso; Diana and Charlie Hubbard of Inola; Linda Garrett of Claremore along with many great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
