Charles Clarke Forthman

September 19, 1951 — May 29, 2015

Charles Clarke Forthman, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at the age of 63. He was born September 19, 1951 in Austin, Texas to Clayton Grimes Forthman and Elizabeth M. (Clarke) Forthman. He served in two tours in Vietnam in the United States Navy. He attended Paris High School in Paris, Texas and received his Master Degree and his PHD in Engineering at Carl Albert University. On May 6, 2006, he married Patricia Ann Goodner in Alex, Oklahoma. Mr. Forthman was a member of the Four Square Gospel Church in Okmulgee and first responder and teacher for the Foursquare disaster relief and a member of V.O.I.D Disaster Relief of Oklahoma and did woodwork and metal work. Mr. Forthman also volunteered as an Okmulgee School Bus driver which he loved doing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Grimes Forthman and sister, Madeline.

Survivors include wife, Patricia Forthman; mother, Elizabeth Forthman; children, Beth, David, Jeana, Carol, Angela, Tabitha and Ryan; brothers, Carl and Clarence; sister, Cheryl; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Foursquare Gospel Church with Pastor Jim Birch.
