Chalmer Jacob Crews, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 12, 2018 at his home of Tulsa, OK. He was 53.

Chalmer was born November 11, 1964 in Joplin, Missouri to Sue Carol (Lehar) Crews and Jerry Jacob Crews.

The Crews family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1967 and Chalmer attended Nathan Hale High School, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In October of 1986 Chalmer enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his career, he was stationed in England, Saudia Arabia, South Korea, Panama City and Virginia.After 20 years of proudly serving our country, he retired in October of 2006. After his retirement from the Air Force, Chalmer worked for a military contractor as an armor inspector.

He finally made his way back to Tulsa and attended Platt College for Culinary Arts. In Chalmers spare time he enjoyed cooking. He was also a avid bass fisherman and was a lifetime member of BASS. He spent his childhood fishing on the Hudson Lake, where he made some of his favorite memories. Chalmer had a helpful soul and would do anything to help others. He will be greatly missed.

Preceding him in death is his mother, Sue Crews and his daughters mother, Cindy Crews.

Survivors include his father, Jerry Crews; two daughters, Rebecca Crews and Jennifer Crews; brother, Doug Crews and his wife, Gene; grandson, Myloh Crews; and his friend, Tina McDaniels.

Interment will take place at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
