Celina Quinn

Celina Elizabeth Duncan Quinn of Tulsa Oklahoma died March 14th, 2025, in Glenpool, Oklahoma. She was born November 29, 1929, in Scarsdale, NY to James Duncan of London, England and Bridget McCarthy Duncan of Limerick, Ireland.

Celina married Thomas Joseph Quinn, June 25, 1955. They were married 52 years until Tom's death on December. 2, 2007. Celina moved to Tulsa in 1963 due to Tom's promotion with Shell Oil Co.

Celina and Tom loved to travel the world. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a volunteer for the Altar Society at St. Pius X Church and Meals on Wheels for over 25 years. Tom and Celina's St. Patrick's Day Meal on Wheels fundraising parties were legendary.

Celina is survived by her brother, Jack Duncan and Ida Cowart of Tucson, Arizona. Celina's four children Patricia Quinn Gurley and husband Mark Gurley of Clearwater, Florida. Eileen Quinn of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Celina Quinn White and husband Randle White of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Preceded in death May 30, 2016, Thomas Duane Quinn of Tulsa and wife Carol Misak Quinn.

Her five grandchildren, Patrick White, Kathleen Gurley Schuler, Christine Quinn Mason, Tarra Quinn, and Mollie Gurley.

Her six great-grandchildren, Quinn White, Addison Schuler, Savannah Schuler, Thomas Mason, Anthony Mason, Henry Jacobs, and Jolene Jacobs.

We want to thank the staff at Glenwood Nursing Home in Glenpool for their excellent care. Also, Good Shepherd Hospice for all the care at home and at the nursing home. We could not have done it without you. Thank you!

Celina may the sun shine warm upon your face. The rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
