Cecil Johnson

Cecil Johnson, a resident of Okemah, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the age of 83. He was born June 30, 1928 to Yuna and Annie (Beaver) Johnson in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, three children, Don Wayne Johnson, Marri Sue Johnson and Mitchell Yuna Johnson; several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Fannie Mae Johnson of the home; six children, Shirley Carvajal and husband, Karl of South Gate, CA, Esther Marie Hernandez of Los Angeles, CA, Angie Ruth Johnson of Fresno, CA, Cecilia Rose Johnson of Okemah,Louise Lee Johnson of Montebello, CA and Benjamin Isaac Johnson of Henryetta; twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Visitation will begin Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta. Wake Services will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2011 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta.
