Cathy Rae Rubio

Cathy Rae (Saunders) Rubio age 56 passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Clare House in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cathy was born March 21, 1956 in Pomona, California to Wayne Richard Saunders and Carolyn Patricia (Pickett) Sylvis. She graduated from Eagle Rock High School in Los Angeles, California in 1974. Cathy received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, California. She married the love of her life, David Christopher Rubio on August 7, 1976. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her parents, Wayne Saunders and Carolyn Sylvis, her loving and devoted husband, David Rubio of Tulsa, her daughter Dana C. Roland of Bixby, her son in law, Jake, her sisters, Carrie Horak and her husband, Dr. David Horak of Arcadia, California, Rona Compton and her husband, Kenny of Eagle Rock, California, her brother, Kelly Saunders and his wife, Gina of Glendale, California along with her precious grandchildren, Libby, Case, and Parker. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
