Cathy Ann Rowell

Cathy Ann Rowell, daughter of Robert and Mada (Davis) Rayburn, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at her home in Broken Arrow, Ok. She was born July 15, 1953 in Cushing, Ok.

Cathy graduated from McAlester High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Library Science from East Central University. She worked as an Education Teacher for Claremore Public Schools for twelve years, retiring this year.

Cathy was preceded in death by the love of her life for 34 years, Gary Rowell; son, Robert Andrew Rowell; parents, Robert and Mada Rayburn; sister-in-law, Sherri Rowell Braly; and borther-in-law, Larry Rowell. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Cochrane and her husband, Kevin from Broken Arrow, Ok; daughter, Ashlee Rowell of Broken Arrow, Ok; grandchildren: Garrett Cochrane of Broken Arrow, Ok; Hannah Cochrane of Broken Arrow; Jonathan Allen of Kiowa, OK; Gage Johnson of Broken Arrow, Ok; Maci Rowell of Broken Arrow; great granddaughter, Ava Marie Ballard of Broken Arrow, Ok; sister, Susan King of Moore, OK; Terry Rowell and him wife, Cheryl of Tulsa, OK; Jeri Ireland and her husband, Mike of Edmond, OK; and sister-in-law, Jimmy Rowell of Savanna, Ok.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service, 5757 S. Memorial Dr. Tulsa.
