Cassie Rae Harlan, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the age of 74.
Born on February 11, 1951, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, Cassie was the cherished daughter of Martin and Opal (Woodring) Cole. She grew up surrounded by family, learning the values of hard work, kindness, and resilience that would define her life.
Cassie met the love of her life, John Harlan, and together they built a life filled with love and devotion. Their journey was one of shared laughter, challenges, and unwavering support. Cassie worked as a waitress, where she touched the lives of many with her warm heart and welcoming smile.
She was an avid outdoorswoman who found peace and joy in fishing. Those who knew Cassie would agree-no one could clean a fish like she could. Whether casting a line on a quiet afternoon or sharing stories by the water, Cassie embraced the simple, beautiful moments of life.
She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, John Harlan; her parents, Martin and Opal Cole; her daughter Jackie Cole - Miller; and her siblings, Velva, Maxine, Goldie, Bob, and Carolyn.
Cassie leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories with her loving daughter, Elizabeth Schuyler, and son, Jay Gallatin, her grandchildren are, Brooke Halford, Stacy Schuyler, Richal Schuyler, Jennifer Miller, Mary Miller, Curt Weeks and Rose Gallatin, as well as many dear relatives and a host of friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
A Public Viewing and Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church in Okmulgee, with Pastor Kevin Wadsworth officiating.
