Carroll Ann Lewis

Carroll Ann (Illingsworth) Lewis passed away on Thursday morning, November 21, 2019. She was born June 10, 1937 to James (Jay) Harvey and Eva Agnes (Sisney) Illingsworth. Carroll grew up in Tulsa, Ok. She married Bobby Lewis on August 21, 1953. They were married for over 61 years.

Carroll spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was an avid cook. She loved trying new recipes and adjusting them to her taste. She was an excellent mother to her children. She loved cooking, baking, going to garage sales, antique stores, and any activities with her family.

Carroll was preceded in death by her parents, her son James Layton; granddaughter Casie Marie Lowen; brothers Earl Harvey and Alec Vernon; and sister Agnes Mason. She is survived by her children Daniel Riddle, Susan A McCutchen (William), Donna Frazee, Stewart Lewis, Barry Lewis (Deborah), Raney Lowen (Stephen), and Carmen Lewis; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Schaudt Funeral Service at 5757 S Memorial Drive in Tulsa. A funeral ceremony, celebrating Carroll’s life, is scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday November 26. Interment will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow.
