Carolyn Sue Lamp

Carolyn Sue Lamp passed away Saturday, July 24, 2015 in Coweta. She was born October 3, 1947 in Henryetta, the daughter of Ralph and Ella "Dorene" Watson. Carolyn grew up in Henryetta and graduated from high Henryetta High School in 1965. She attended Tulsa Junior College and later graduated from Langston UCAT with her bachelor's degree in nursing.

Carolyn spent most of her career as a registered nurse with the Saint Francis Health System. She was a long time member of Arrow Heights Baptist Church in Broken Arrow. She loved sewing and quilting. She was very involved with the Quilts of Valor and she also made hats for newborn children in Haiti. She loved scrapbooking and volunteering at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Moody (Derek); her son Michael Davis; her brother Ralph Watson; and her grandchildren: Ashley Davis, Tyler and Sienna Moody.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service at Memorial Park, 5757 S. Memorial Drive in Tulsa. A visitation is scheduled for 6-8 PM, Wednesday evening, July 29 at the funeral home. A funeral ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, July 30 at Arrow Heights Baptist Church, 3201 S. Elm Place in Broken Arrow. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta.
