Carolyn Ann Eason

Carolyn was born June 18, 1941 in Sallisaw OK, the daughter of Alvin and Sylvia Richardson. After graduating from Berryhill High School she married Hershal Eason on May 28, 1959 and they were married for 54 years.

Family and friends were Carolyn’s passion and delight. She loved to host, cook, play games and entertain at her home. She enjoyed working in her garden and she was an accomplished seamstress making clothing and gifts for her family. In the past few years she enjoyed taking trips to visit her children and grandchildren and watching them participating in their activities

She was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Sylvia Richardson and her parents-in-law Downey and Gladys Eason.

She is survived by her husband Hershal, children Jeff (Julie) and Jennifer (Lantze) Frye, grandchildren JD and Jack Eason, brother Alvin Richardson Jr, sister Robin (Tim) Fox, brother and sister in law Harold and Kay Eason, nieces and nephews Jared (Cara) Fox, Leslee (Austin) Kinnison, Todd Richardson, Melissa (Ryon) Stirling, Colby Eason, Diane (Rogelio) Contreras and grand-nieces and nephews Tristan Richardson, Rowan and Aubrey Stirling, Gracie Eason and Isabela Contreras.

Carolyn was a member of Faith Church in Glenpool OK and she was a “Proverbs 31” woman who prayed continuously for her family and friends and boldly encouraged them in a Christian walk. She leaves a legacy of love and faith.

Many people have been so kind and supportive during this time. Thanks to St. John hospital doctors, nurses, hospice, and support staff. Special thanks to Clarehouse and all those who serve to support their mission.
