Carla Dawn Heltzel

Carla Dawn Heltzel age 49 passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011 in Jenks, Oklahoma. Carla was born in Vinita, Oklahoma on April 7, 1961 to Lloyd B. Heltzel and Lucille (Roll) Heltzel. She graduated from Vinita High School in 1979 and the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Recreational Therapy. She enjoyed swimming, singing karaoke and reading. She worked as a Recreational Therapist for Buckner Villa Siesta for the past four years. She was a member of Hope Chapel in Austin, Texas. Carla was preceded in death by her parents: Lloyd and Lucille Heltzel. She is survived by her sisters: Farlin Masa and her husband, Geza of Calera, AL; Phyllis Jordan and her husband, Jeff of Linn Creek, MO; Deborah Crawford and her husband, Les of Jenks, OK; her nieces and nephews: Michael Masa and his wife, Tiffani and their daughter: Mariska; Stephen Masa and his wife, Ashley and their children: Carlie, and Cale, Paul Jordan, Phillip Jordan and his wife, Sarah and their children: Madelynn, Connor and Emmitt; Rachael Jordan, Alyson Nash and her husband Andrew, Brittany Crawford along with other family members, friends and acquaintances. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation in memory of Carla. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2011 at Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church, Jenks, Oklahoma. Pastor Jeffrey Jordan will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
