Carl R. Turner

Carl R. Turner, 65, passed away Monday, September 27, 2004 at Tulsa Regional Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mr. Turner was born August 11, 1939 to Buel Lewis Turner, Sr. and Cleo Genet Turner in Newport, Arkansas. He graduated from County Line High School in Branch, Arkansas; was a retired welder and worked for Bethesda Farms. Mr. Turner moved to Glenpool, Oklahoma 3 years ago moving from Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was a member of South Heights Assembly of God Church in Sapulpa.
Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents: Buel L. Turner, Sr., Cleo Genet Turner; 2 brothers: Charles Turner and Joey Turner.
He is survived by his brothers: Joe Turner and his wife, Carol, Prattville, OK; Buel L. Turner, Jr., Sapulpa, OK; sisters: Jean Bishop and her husband, Charles, Dover, AR; Betty Keeton, Hemphill, TX and Jeri Lynn Ungrecht and her husband, Jerry, Wichita, KS plus many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers for Mr. Turner will be Hunter Judd, Grant Turner, Jim Turner and Randy Judd.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2004 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at South Heights Cemetery Chapel, Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Funeral services will begin 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend John Nelsen officiating. Committal will be at South Heights Cemetery immediately following funeral service.
