C.E. “Cricket” Kingham, 70, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Born July 19, 1946 to Martha Lillian (Scott) and Clarence E. Kingham in Lawton, Oklahoma. Cricket graduated from Blackwell High School in 1964 and attended Oklahoma State University. For over forty years he worked in commercial real estate, most recently with Newmark Grubb LSB.
Cricket was a master of all things he loved. While still a teen he attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Cricket selflessly dedicated a large portion of his life to Sigma Chi and was awarded the Order of Constantine, the highest honor that the Fraternity bestows upon one of its members.
He married Leanna Raye Fry on February 5, 1966 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Twenty-three years ago Cricket refused to leave Lee’s side in her fight against cancer, and in turn she never left his.
Cricket took great pride in being a husband, father, and Poppy to four grandchildren that adored him.
He fought the good fight. We love him and will miss him so.
Cricket is survived by his wife, Lee; two sons: Chris and Jason; sister, Cindy List; brother, Scott; and grandchildren: Taylor, Max, Sophia and Riley.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Tulsa, OK.
