Burban Newman Lasarge

Burban “Butch” N. LaSarge Jr. was born on March 19, 1947 and rode from this life in December 23, 2020 at the age of 73. He was the son of Burban and Lucy LaSarge, living most of his life around the Okmulgee and Sapulpa areas. He was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps, enjoyed playing softball in his younger years and spending time at his second home shooting pool in his later years. The loves of his life were Harleys, collecting Hot Wheels, and drawing and beading.

Butch is proceeded in death by his parents, first wife Norma, and his last wife Patricia. Sisters Brenda and Cindy, and brothers Tommy and Danny.

He leaves behind to carry on his legacy, daughters, Genelle of Tulsa, Brandi of Morris, Jon Lea of Morris, and April of Tulsa. Stepsons, Shayne of Sapulpa, Joe of Natura, and Anthony of Okmulgee. Sister Becky of Bartlesville, brothers Ronnie of Broken Bow, Allen of Broken Bow, and Charlie of Okmulgee. Twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Viewing and visitation will be held at Schaudt’s Okmulgee Chapel on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Okmulgee Indian Baptist Church on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 1:00 PM.
