Bruce Alan Lyons

Bruce Alan Lyons age 63 passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bruce was born August 1, 1948 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Richard Lyons and Juanita (Lewis) Lyons. He graduated from Bartlesville High School in 1966. He joined the United States Navy in July of 1966 and served until July 1969 when he was honorably discharged. He married Alice Hudson on April 18, 1975 . Bruce continued his education at NSU and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 1981. Bruce most recently worked as a Transportation Enforcement Officer for the Oklahoma corporation Commission for fourteen years after having worked as a Oklahoma Highway Patrolman for twenty-five years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard and Juanita Lyons. He is survived by his wife Alice Lyons, his children: Victoria Lyons, Cynthia Lyons, Charley Lyons and his wife, Dawn; Richard Lyons and his wife DeAnna, his ten grandchildren and one great grandchild expected soon, his brother Jerry Lyons and his wife Nancy and Donald Lyons and his wife, Lisa along with other family members and friends. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at First Christian Church, 308 E. Main Street, Jenks, Oklahoma. Reverend Richard Newman will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
