Brian Nathaniel Buie

Brian Nathaniel Buie, 40, died on Friday, March 24, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. He was born June 12, 1976 in Camp LeJeune, NC to Frank Hammond and Saga Blanche (Palm) Buie. He and his siblings grew up with their father in the U.S. Navy, which allowed them to live all over the United States, spanning from North Carolina to Hawaii. In 1994, Brian graduated from Red Bank High School in Chattanooga, TN. He met the love of his life, Nicole Cathryn (Garvey) Buie, while working at Eckerd Drug Store. The two entered into marriage on October 10, 1998, in Chattanooga, TN. He and Nicole have two children, Noah and Samantha.
Brian graduated from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga with a Degree in Political Science - Paralegal Studies. In 2007, Brian moved his family to Tulsa, OK to continue his education. He graduated from the University of Tulsa, College of Law in 2010. Brian worked as an immigration attorney for the Law Offices of Mawby&Litz. Brian served on the board of the Coalition of Hispanic Organizations and participated in community events such as health and immigration forums. He was an avid collector of comic books and action figures. He enjoyed going to the movies with his family to see the latest action flick. Most of all, Brian loved being a husband and father. He was a devoted parent, dedicating many hours to his children's activities.
Survivors include Nicole Cathryn (Garvey) Buie of Tulsa, OK; children, Noah Buie and Samantha Buie of Tulsa, OK; parents, Frank Hammond and Saga Blanche (Palm) Buie of Chattanooga, TN; siblings, Timothy Buie, Sr. of Tennessee and Tasha Buie of Illinois; niece, Charity Buie; nephews, Joshua Buie and Timothy Buie, Jr. and many, many friends and lifting loyal companion, Molly, the family dog. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
