Brenda K. Wilson

The family of Brenda K. Wilson of Ponca City, OK, is saddened to announce her passing on August 31, 2023.

Brenda was born November 8, 1954, in Virginia and lived most of her life in Ponca City. She strongly held a family first belief passed down from her mother. She loved to travel with her family, and Branson was a favorite destination. She also loved to cook and collect dishware. Her children fondly remember her southern-style cooking. Brenda frequently helped care for her now adult grandchildren in their youth, and most recently, she enjoyed teaching various crafts to her youngest granddaughters. She was known for her passion for all crafts, and her quilts are especially beloved by the family.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Martel and Edna Wilson.

Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her family: 4 children, Damon Dodge (Christy), Shane Martel (Amanda), Brent Vaillancourt (April), Sandy Baker (Randall); 10 grandchildren, Drake Martel (Mary), Jorja Martel, Madison Greenwell, Andrew Dodge, Ryleigh Greenwell, Lane Vaillancourt, Alyssa Vaillancourt, Zack Vaillancourt, Abby Dodge, Peyton Martel; longtime partner, Estle Lampe; 6 siblings, Linda Graube (Carl), Cinda Hatfield (Mike), Lisa McDonald (Michael), Sandy Haltom (Todd), Gina Lepore, Trey Lepore; and 10 nieces and nephews.

The family is comforted knowing Brenda is at peace with our Lord.
