Brenda Delores Lasarge

Brenda Delores LaSarge, age 68, passed from this world Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Muscogee Creek Nation Medical Center in Okmulgee.

Brenda was born March 8, 1948 to Bourbon LaSarge and Lucy (McIntosh) LaSarge in Claremore, Oklahoma. She graduated from Sequoyah High School in 1966. She enjoyed sewing, especially traditional Indian clothing, and attending church. She was a cook for surrounding churches, and also worked as a CNA.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings Thomas LaSarge, Daniel LaSarge, and Cindy Huffman.

She is survived by her children: Michael "Cheetah" Jimboy, Tiarra Jimboy, and Tonya McCollum. Her grandchildren: Isaiah Jimboy, Mariah Sanders, Brandon Jimboy, Talia Jimboy, Courtney McCollum Jesse Glass, Cody and Cameron Yocam. Her great grandchildren: Rylan Jimboy, Isaiah and Cayden Yocham, and a great-grandchild, Cason Sanders. She also leaves to mourn her siblings: Charley L. LaSarge, Burban LaSarge, Ronald LaSarge, Alan Dale LaSarge, and Becky LaSarge.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm Monday, July 11, 2016 at Schaudt’s Funeral Service and Cremation Care, 220 S. Alabama, Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Wake Service will be 7:00 pm Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Tallahasee Indian Methodist Church, 11240 Celia Berryhill Rd in Okmulgee.

Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Second Baptist Church, 1004 N. Alabama Ave, Okmulgee with interment at the Okmulgee Indian Baptist Cemetery.
