Bobby Joe Mccaslin

A public viewing will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at Natura Baptist Church in Beggs, Oklahoma on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm.

Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Bobby Joe McCaslin, age 69 of Preston, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, May 19, 2018 with his wife Dorothy by his side.

He was born on November 30, 1948 to parents, Connie and Elizabeth McCaslin. He attended Liberty Mounds High School. On March 17, 1967 he married the love of his life, Dorothy Endres. They have been together for 51 years.

Bobby was an avid outdoors man. In his free time, you could see him at the lake fishing. Although he did not like to eat the fish, he would catch, filet, and take them back to the house for anyone that wanted some. During hay season he would be out in the field on the tractor. But his main passion was serving at Preston School where he was a custodian. The kids all called him "Bob the Builder". He was known for his practical jokes and humor. He was also a bus driver and was very dedicated to serving the students of Preston.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; Connie and Elizabeth McCaslin.

He is survived by his wife; Dorothy McCaslin, children Joe McCaslin and wife Nikki of Preston, Shelly and husband Chris Porter of Twin Hills, grandchildren; Eian and Mary Bumsted, Melissa and Cody Grant, Justin and Elizabeth McCaslin, Lance and Kelly Jo Porter. Great grandkids include; Lillian Bumsted, Greyson, Piper and Parker Grant and numerous nieces and nephews.
