Bob Gene Prosser

Bob Gene Prosser passed away with loving family by his side on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at the age of 87 years. Bob was born on July 11, 1933 in Crescent, OK to his parents Luther Verlin, and Cecil Beatrice (Dick) Prosser. Bob served our country in the Air Force from 1951-1955 and continued to do so in the Air National Guard for 26 more years. He was extremely proud to have served his country and was very patriotic. He met the love of his life, Lenora Kaase, and they were married on October 27, 1956 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bob started his 26-year career with American Airlines in 1967 as a mechanic and retired in 1994 as a Crew Chief.

Bob always had a project in the works. He loved building, restoring, and tinkering. He could perform anything mechanical to any General Motors vehicle. He overhauled many engines and transmissions in his day. He built airplane models, and many of them are still on display at Miami Regional Airport in Oklahoma. He built a 1939 Jaguar kit car in 1987 and restored various British motorcycles. He even built a 1/2 scale German Focke-Wulf 190 fighter plane in his garage over the course of eight years. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents- Luther and Cecil Prosser; son, Darrell Prosser, daughter, Debra Prosser; brothers, Francis Prosser, Wayne Prosser, and sister, Marie Bennett.

Bob leaves many loving memories with his family; loving wife, Lenora, of Owasso; daughter, Christy Parnell and husband Mark, of Tulsa; grandson, Kaleb Thompson and wife, Clecilia; sister, Marian Smith, along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
