Blonda (Bostick) Landauer age 102 passed away January 29, 2015 at her long term residence, Walnut Place in Dallas, Texas .
Blonda was born January 5, 1913 in Arlington, Texas to William Berry Bostick and Ida Pearl Martin. She attended North Dallas High School and Rutherfords Business School. She was a devoted long time employee for Delta Airlines. Blonda was one of seven children and the last living sibling. She loved to play bridge and liked to go fishing.
Blonda was preceded in death by her parents: William and Ida Bostick, her husband, Leo L. Landauer, her siblings, Baby Bostick, Frank, Vohries, Lee, Thurman, Inez and Olive .
She is survived by her nephew: Gary Bostick (Sharon) of Brownwood, Texas, great nephews: Mike Bostick, Don Bostick ( Stephanie) of Brownwood, Texas, her great niece Lisa Meacham (Justin) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, great-great nephews: Dylan Bostick, Dustin Bostick, Wyatt Meacham, Ryland Meacham along with other family members and friends. The family would like to acknowledge Blonda's long term caregivers: Christina Davila and Lilly Valmore. We consider them extended family members.
Her life was that of adherence to her faith, devotion to her family and friends. She was a member of Lovers Lane United Methodist Church, an avid volunteer at Scottish Rite Hospital and a life member of Parkland Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Pallbearers are: Mike Bostick, Don Bostick, Justin Meacham, Dylan Bostick, Dustin Bostick. Honorary pallbearers are: Wyatt Meacham and Ryland Meacham.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Grand Mausoleum
Chapel at Sparkman-Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas.
Reverend Walt Lunde will officiate.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
