Blanche Westfield

Blanche May (Hopkins) Westfield age 97 passed away Friday, April 8, 2011 at Glenwood HealthCare Center in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Blanche was born May 4, 1913 in Novice, Texas to Dan Hopkins and Annie (Ellis) Hopkins. Blanche married Clarence L. Westfield, Sr. She liked to fish, make quilts and she remained a faithful and dedicated member of in her church until she became ill in 1998. Blance was preceded in death by her parents: Dan and Annie Hopkins; her beloved husband, Clarence Westfield, Sr.; her sister and her brothers. She is survived by her sons: Clarence L. Westfield, Jr. and his late wife: Sarah of Paris Texas and Joe Westfield of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Blanche is survived by her stepsons: Larry, Richard and Calvin Westfield of Hugo, Oklahoma; her stepdaughters: Joyce and Brenda Westfield of Hugo, Oklahoma; her grandchildren: Bildra McCarty of Clarksville, Texas; LaQuetta Barry and her husband, Victor of Paris, Texas; Jeffery McCarty and his wife: Miriam of Lake ElSonria, California; David McCarty and his wife: Temika of Desoto, Texas; Rico McDonald of Paris, Texas; MaShonda McDonald of Paris, Texas; her fifteen great grandchildren; her one great great grandchild; her special niece: Evelyn Vinson; her special nephew: Harold Hopkins and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 at Oak Hill Baptist Cemetery in Arthur City, Texas. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
