Blake Edward Edlund

Blake Edward Edlund, of Tulsa, passed away peacefully Friday, November 30, 2018, at the age of 31 years while surrounded by family. He was born on August 11, 1987 in Oklahoma City, OK to Bobby Edlund and Heather Miller. Blake was raised in Sapulpa and graduated from Sapulpa High School in 2005. After graduating, he attended Oklahoma State University and Tulsa Community College.

Blake was employed with Enterprise Holdings for 10 years; most recently as a Lead Citations Processor. He enjoyed playing drums, listening to music, playing video games, watching Oklahoma Sooner football, Craft beer tasting, BBQ and playing with his nieces and nephews. He was also a founding member and drummer of the Skaband, Classy San Diego.

In his late teens, Blake was involved in theatre with Heller Theater Company and performed in several productions including A Christmas Story, Dustbowl Ballads, and The Curious Savage.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Mary Edlund, Doug Miller, and Marelyn Phelps.

Blake leaves many loving memories with his family; dad and mom, Bobby & Holly Edlund; sister, Kailey Edlund and fiancé, Roberto Arellanes; brother, Christian Edlund and wife, Emily; sisters, Alyssa Edlund and Morgan Miller; grandparents, Craig and Cheryl Gravel; and Sabrina Miller; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other loving family members and a host of friends.

His last act, in true Blake fashion, was one of giving through the gift of eye and tissue donation.

Viewing and visitation will be 5:00p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Thursday December 6, 2018 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service. Services will be held 12:00 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2018 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Matt Blair officiating. Interment will follow at Rolling Oaks Memorial Garden. A reception will follow at Schaudt Tulsa Funeral Service.
