Blake Allen Keddrell

October 14, 1988 — June 7, 2009

Blake Allen Keddrell born in Broken Arrow and having graduated from Jenks High School in 2007, Blake, 20, was always the mildest and most relaxed person in the room. His easy-going spirit made him a good listener, and his subtle wit always surprised us with a laugh. He was tragically lost Sunday morning in Kiefer, Oklahoma, not long into the pursuit of a new, more challenging and aspiring direction in his life, and now rests eternally with the Lord.
Blake's mother Pam was active at Victory Christian Center, where many of the family's lifetime friends were made and where Blake attended school from kindergarten through 9th grade. He played football and baseball growing up, and loved listening to music, playing on the computer, and fishing. Learning from his step-father in recent years, Blake had become an auto enthusiast, and always kept his own car in top shape.
Blake is survived by his mother and step-father Pamela and David Gilmore, a brother, Alec Keddrell, and two step-sisters Natalie and Nici Gilmore, all of Bixby; father Rodney Keddrell (Texas); grandmother and step-grandfather Carole and Buddy Roberson of Kiefer; maternal grandfather Robert L. Shears (Alabama); step-grandparents Wilfred and Beulah Gilmore (New Mexico); maternal great-grandparents Clarence and Marjorie Heath; an uncle Robert L. Shears of Tulsa; an aunt Janet Kedzie (Virginia); 7 cousins, and 3 great-aunts (Alabama), many of whom traveled great distances to be with Blake's family this week.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, June 11th, 2009 at The Landing Community Church in Glenpool, with the Reverend Doug Crumbly officiating. Memorial contributions may be made by contacting the trust department of Tulsa Teachers Credit Union at 918.749.TTCU (8828).
Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care. Family and friends may view the obituary and send condolences to the family online at www.schaudtfuneralservice.com
