Billy T Jones

On Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 7:54 p.m. Billy left this world peacefully from his home in Glenpool and took his first breath in the presence of his Heavenly Father.
He was born on July 25,1946, living his early years in the Okmulgee/Morris, OK area, his adult years in Tulsa and his final two years as a resident of Glenpool, OK.
Billy was a graduate of Morris High School, Haskell Junior College, and he served honorably in the U.S. Army with the HHC 4th Psyop Group during the Vietnam War. With his death Billy became another casualty of that war as a result of disease and illness associated with the herbicide exposure of Agent Orange.
A celebration of Billy's life will begin at the Schaudt's Funeral Service in Glenpool, OK with visitation and viewing starting at noon Wednesday, January 16th, followed by the wake service at 7 p.m. that evening. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Big Cussetah Methodist Church in Okmulgee, OK, followed by graveside services with military honors at the Okmulgee Cemetery.
Billy is survived by his wife Diane of Glenpool, daughter Shannon of Sapulpa, son Shane of Glenpool, grand-daughter Tyler Harp and grandsons Tenetke, Micah, and Micco Jones, as well as numerous other family members, relatives, and beloved friends.
We are so blessed to have had Billy in our lives; he was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched many lives. It is only in knowing divine grace that we experience divine love. Your family knows that we will some day all rejoice in Heaven with you and what a wonderful day that will be. Until then, we will keep our hands in God's hand and he will make it all-right. We love you deeply and will miss you forever.
